The international brand and phenomenon Pokemon celebrated its 10th Anniversary in grand style with the world's largest Pokemon gathering and the final rounds of the National Video Game Championships.

  • Complete logistical planning and management of the largest one-day event in the history of Bryant Park
  • Development, scripting and management of a seven-hour live stage show
  • Audition, casting, training and on-site management of character actors and costumed characters
  • Staging, audio, LED video screen, live cameras, power distribution
  • Liaison with Bryant Park and NYC Parks, including contract negotiations
  • Coordination with NYC Mayor's Office to declare Pokemon Day in NYC
  • Traffic flow, contingency plans, line management, crowd control
  • Custom tent design and production

  • Stage management team to call every cue, ensure every entrance and get every character in and out of costume safely and efficiently

  • 10 Chinese fan dancers, 2 flame eating stilt walkers, one Bubble Man (you've got to see it to believe it)
  • 386 Pokemon in every nook and cranny of Bryant Park, from the lawn to the fountain.
  • 58,000 branded premiums, 65 video game championship finalists, 2 crowned champions
  • One wrestling superstar and reality TV icon, Hulk Hogan
  • 13,200 cubic feet of helium to fly the Pikachu balloon from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade above the lawn

How'd We Do?

More than 500 media stories generating 96 million measurable consumer impressions in all 50 states. Media highlights included 2 days of mention on "Live with Regis and Kelly", CNN "Showbiz Tonight", MTV News, NY1, Reuters, Newsday and Advertising Age.
