Mary J. Blige Performs For Degree Women

,NEW YORK, March 22, 2010 – Superstar Mary J. Blige gave a surprise performance in Times Square today to celebrate the coming of spring and new Degree Women NatureEffects. Eventage produced the event, which included the "grassphalting" of Times Square with 11,000 square feet of FieldTurf grass installed on Broadway between 42nd and 43rd Streets and on Military Island. Military Island was also the site of custom-designed sampling stations and a branded LED video truck which broadcast the performance live. Eventage handled all city relations, permitting, scenic, staging, audio, lighting, video and stage management for Unilever’s Degree brand and Weber Shandwick.

Eventage Returns for 5th NYC Half Marathon

,NEW YORK, March 21, 2010 – For the fifth consecutive year Eventage partnered with New York Road Runners to manage the fluid stations for their NYC Half Marathon. In addition to managing and staffing the 11 fluid stations, this year Eventage took on the additional responsibility of managing the course’s 9 medical stations. , NEW YORK, October 18 ,2009 – The 4th Annual Have A Chance Walk to Fight Brain Tumors took place today in Lower Manhattan. Threatening skies & rain didn’t keep more than 1,500 participants from walking the scenic 5K route and raising more than $550,000 for Have A Chance & the National Brain Tumor Society. At the Opening Ceremony, brain tumor survivor Felix Papadakis told his motivational story & five other walkers with connections to the brain tumor community participated in the inspirational Chain of Hope. JCPenney NYC Opens with a Splash

,NEW YORK, July 31, 2009 - The newest JCPenney, a 150,000 square foot department store in the heart of Manhattan, opened at 33rd St. & 6th Avenue today. Eventage produced the grand opening events. Rain forced the grand opening press conference with Mayor Michael Bloomberg & JCP CEO Mike Ullman into the atrium of the store, but other activities were able to take place in Greeley Square Park. Eventage created a 24' tall replica of a JCPenney storefront in Greeley Square with a fashion runway & department store "windows" that featured live models & other displays. Eventage also created & executed a unique street team operation with moving pop-up store windows that allowed models to display the latest fashions from JCPenney throughout Manhattan.

CHICAGO, April 16, 2009 - The first electronic votes for the 2009 class of the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame were cast here today at the Palmer House Hilton by Olympic Hall of Fame swimmer John Naber, Chicago 2016 chairman Patrick Ryan, Allstate chairman Tom Wilson and U.S. Olympic Committee acting chairman Stephanie Streeter. This followed a press conference where the nominees were first announced to the public. Immediately after the press conference, public voting kiosks were opened for two days in high-traffic locations throughout downtown Chicago, inviting passersby to meet U.S. Olympic legends such as Dan Jansen and Shannon Miller and to vote at teamusa.org. After two successful days of sampling from the custom-designed M&Ms Premiums booth under the shows' welcome tent, a mini fashion show was held for the media. The show featured models dressed in gowns based on the new M&Ms Premiums flavors and was narrated by Miss Green herself in 3D graphics timed to the show. It also featured an appearance by the actress Eva Longoria, who posed with Miss Green and the models for the onslaught of media gathered. NEW YORK, June 3, 2008 - To launch the fifth season of WE tv's popular Bridezillas, Eventage produced a publicity stunt for the network on Military Island in Times Square. Ten engaged women, clad in wedding gowns, helmets, and knee pads, raced to be the first to climb a ten foot tall wedding cake decorated with 50 pounds of real frosting. The winning bride-to-be, from Basking Ridge, NJ, won $25,000 for reaching the top of the cake first. Media coverage included the NY Daily News, Access Hollywood the Star-Ledger and Marie Claire.

Today's event, the Boys & Girls Club Day for Kids, was held at the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club in the Bronx and featured a Disney's The Jungle Book theme. The event featured games, song and dance performances, face painting, costume characters, a Disney artist doing caricatures and a chance to register for the Boys and Girls Club. Eventage and NY Road Runners Expand Relationship

NEW YORK, April 8, 2007 - Eventage has been retained by the New York Road Runners Club to manage the food, drink and medical operation at the start area of the ING New York City Marathon for the third straight year. After a wide-reaching RFP process at NYRR, Eventage has also been selected to manage two critical course operations for the 2007 event. Eventage will manage the 24 medical stops along the route and the transportation of fluids for the marathon's top tier elite runners from around the world. The ING New York City Marathon takes place on Sunday, November 4 and is televised on NBC.

Irish Spring Tour Launches Nationwide

CHICAGO, March 2, 2007 - A nationwide tour for new Irish Spring Body Wash kicked off in The Loop today during a driving blizzard. The harsh weather didn't stop the Eventage team, clad in branded bathrobes, from distributing samples of the new product along with specialized Zagat guides to Irish pubs in major markets. There will be two tours operating simultaneously from now through St. Patrick's Day, visiting Atlanta, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Dallas. An estimated 100,000 product samples and 50,000 Zagat guides will be distributed. Walk and Ride Season Begins at Eventage

NEW YORK, March 1, 2007 - As the weather in the northeast begins to break, Eventage prepares for its annual outdoor event season which includes some new projects for 2007. Eventage returns for its 5th season managing the rest areas for Bike New York and producing the opening and closing ceremonies for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in eight cities nationwide. In late April, Eventage will be the first production company to provide logistics support to the March of Dimes WalkAmerica in Manhattan.
