For the last 13 years, Joey has been involved on the logistics side of large-scale public events across the country and the world. Her vast experience encompasses just about every aspect of planning and executing athletic fundraising events, including route development, agency and jurisdictional relationship-building, site layout, volunteer management, manifest development, vendor negotiation and management, staff training and crisis management (to name a few).

Joey has been an integral part of many landmark events, including the Breast Cancer 3•Day series, Tanqueray’s American AIDSRides, the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s LIVESTRONG Rides, the Out of the Darkness Overnight walk, the African AIDS Trek and the Weekend to End Breast Cancer in Canada and the United Kingdom. She is a graduate of George Mason University and lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband Scott and their two golden retrievers.
