Project:
Buick/Joseph
Abboud Fashion Event
Client:
Buick, Vorhaus & Company, Inc. Public
Relations
Overview:
Buick has forged a new partnership
with American fashion designer, Joseph
Abboud and the US Olympic Team. These
new alliances needed to be presented
to the media. Eventage
was retained by Buick's public relations
firm, Vorhaus and Company, and worked
with representatives from Buick and
Joseph Abboud.
Production
Plan:
Eventage produced an elaborate multi-media
presentation at the Altman Building
in Manhattan, which enabled Buick
and Joseph Abboud to demonstrate the
power and potential of their new alliance.
Eventage
created a dynamic backdrop for executives
from both companies, combining music,
projected images, computerized lighting,
fashion models and, of course, new
cars. The choreographed show dramatically
revealed the new Olympic Edition Buick
Regals as well as Joseph Abboud's
new line of men's fashions.
Results:
The announcement of the new partnership
was well covered in the press, including
a feature story in the New York Post
and segments on CNNfn (Business Unusual)
and CNN (Street Sweep).
Client
Feedback:
"Eventage is our first phone call
for any client event or announcement
- a winning group of creative people
who are a true pleasure to work with."
Nikki Gannon,
Senior Account Executive, Vorhaus
& Company.
