Matt began his career in New York working on the 1992 Democratic National Convention and was then named Production Manager for Macy's Annual Events, the in-house production team responsible for Macy's landmark events. His responsibilities at Macy's included managing the communications command center for the Thanksgiving Day Parade as well as all marine and pyrotechnic operations for Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks, the largest Independence Day show in the country. He also oversaw technical operations for in-store promotional events featuring icons such as Julie Andrews, Magic Johnson and Muhammad Ali.
Matt left Macy's to become a freelance producer in the industrial and public event industries. These ranged from Disney's Hercules Electrical Parade to national and international events for clients such as Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals, Rhone-Poulenc Rorer Pharmaceuticals and Volvo Cars of North America. He has also produced video and film for clients as diverse as SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals and the Nederlander Organization.
Matt oversees all production and creative operations at Eventage. He specializes in staging, technical development, music, lighting and script development, as well as managing the company's relationships with governmental agencies nationwide.
He holds a Bachelor or Arts in English from the University of Vermont and is a published writer of essays and short fiction.

Jennifer's diverse experience began at Macy's Annual Events, where she was a Production Coordinator responsible for the recruitment and management of parade participants such as clowns and balloon handlers. After leaving Macy's, she entered the theater world, starting off with the coordination of the opening night gala for Miss Saigon in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She then joined TMG – The Marketing Group a press and promotions agent for Broadway shows both on tour and in New York. In her years as a press agent, she designed and managed promotions for shows such as Annie, The Sound of Music and Stomp, and worked with the marketing teams of companies such as Hallmark, Tower Records and The New York Times.
Jennifer oversees all financial operations at Eventage as well as the development of event budgets and personnel allocation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin — Madison. She completed the 1997 New York City Marathon in 4:45:45.

and a Minor in Business
Administration, he moved
to New York City to receive
his Masters in Fine Arts
at Brooklyn College. While
working on his Masters,
Michael interned in the
marketing department of
Carnegie Hall and at Richard
Frankel Productions, a
general management office
for Broadway and Off-Broadway
shows. He joined the Eventage
team in the spring of
1999.
Michael
is an avid collector of
70s and 80s
music and has seen every
last 80s fluff movie

Carly Seiler, Director, Event Production

Carly comes to Eventage with a strong background in
television production and casting. She has worked in pre-production for
ValleyCrest Productions on Who Wants to be a Millionaire and in the
casting department for MTV Specials. She has produced satellite media
tour segments for clients such as IBM, 1-800 Flowers.com and Hanes and
industrials for companies including Nokia, USAirways and Tommy Hilfiger.
Carly joined Eventage as a Stage Manager for the grand opening of Toys
"R" Us Times Square, where she oversaw a cast of over 90 actors and
production assistants.
Carly graduated from University of Delaware with Bachelor of Liberal
Arts in Communication / Mass Media. She is one of the founding members
of the Brian Seibert Memorial Fund, which raises money for cancer
patients and their families.

Ted Metellus, Event Manager

Ted joined Eventage from the New York Road Runners Club, where he managed dozens of large-scale competitive road races, including the New York City Marathon. A logistics expert, Ted was a member of the National Event Services Team for the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day Walks and Tanqueray's American AIDSRides. He toured the United States and Europe with these events, coordinating the movement of thousands of walkers and riders and managing volulnteer support crews during the multi-day journeys. Ted began his event career in New York creating field promotions for Emmis Broadcasting's 98.7 KISS-FM before joining the New York AIDSRide staff as the Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator.
Ted holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the State University of New York at Oswego. While a student there, he was an on-air personality and the Director of Urban Music Programming at WNYO Radio.

Cari's event planning background has its roots in both non-profit fundraisers & high-end fashion shows. She cut her teeth at March of Dimes overseeing fundraising & logistics for annual events such as Walk America and the Celebrity Golf Classic. Seeking a touch more glamour, she moved on to celebrity and designer management for Macy's West Passport fashion shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Cari comes to Eventage from Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco where she oversaw their special events department and secured sponsorship from the likes of GAP Inc., See's Candies, Citibank and the San Francisco Giants.
Cari holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in American Sign Language from the University of Arizona. She is a Big Sister to an amazing young girl and has also completed the Honolulu Marathon. |
